A number of Pakistani politicians from both sides of political divide, have planned to reach the British capital London during next two to three weeks.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has already left for London to meet his wife, Kulsoom Nawaz. She is under treatment for lymphoma cancer in London.
Nawaz Sharif is also expected to address his supporters and workers of PML (N) during his stay in the United Kingdom.
According to media reports, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesman Fawad Chaudhary will reach London on Friday and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed over the weekend.
Chaudhry is scheduled to address six meetings, while Rasheed-led AML has announced four sessions in London.
PTI chief Imran Khan is scheduled to arrive in London in the second week of September. He has been invited by his friend Naeem Musarrat on his daughter’s wedding on September 9.
Some other senior members of the PTI would also be coming to attend the wedding ceremony of Musarrat’s daughter.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Dr Asim Hussain is also expected to arrive in London for his medical treatment. He has been allowed to travel abroad by the Supreme Court .
